Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Yale New Haven Health, specializing in intraoperative care within an Ambulatory Surgery Center. This role offers a unique opportunity for professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and prioritize delivering exceptional patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in an outpatient setting.This role involves working closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless coordination of care and effective communication among healthcare professionals.As a key member of the surgical team, the nurse will be accountable for maintaining accurate records, implementing evidence-based practices, and adhering to established standards of care.This position also requires the ability to remain composed under pressure, handling multiple tasks simultaneously while prioritizing patient needs.RequirementsA current RN license in the State of Connecticut is required; BSN preferred.At least one year of multi-specialty circulating experience in the operating room, including scrubbing skills and CNOR certification (if applicable).The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, as well as a commitment to ongoing professional development.Compensation and BenefitsOur organization offers a competitive salary range of $95,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and opportunities for growth and advancement within the Yale New Haven Health system.
