Job Summary and Qualifications
Under general supervision, makes preparation, operates equipment and assists physicians in performing cardiac catheterizations and other special procedures; performs hemodynamic monitoring and other duties as assigned.
What qualifications you will need:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Associate Degree in Cardiovascular Technology required
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
- Previous Cath Lab experience preferred
- Knowledge of the cardiovascular system and EKG arrhythmias
- Able to recognize abnormalities, correlate information obtained and convey the findings to physicians
- Proficient computer skills in basic software systems (ie Word, Excel, EHR)
