Part-Time Experienced
Residential Cleaning Technician
We are currently seeking a mature, reliable and dedicated Cleaning Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our clients' homes are clean, sanitized, and organized according to their preferences and our high standards. This position is perfect for retirees looking to pick up just a few hours a week as the shifts are in the morning for 4 hours 1-2 days a week.
Pay: $16–$17 per hour, depending on experience
Responsibilities:
Perform thorough cleaning of residential properties according to established protocols and schedules.
Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors, carpets, and rugs in all rooms.
Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, tubs, and showers.
Wipe down and disinfect kitchen surfaces, countertops, appliances, and cabinet exteriors.
Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
Make beds and change linens as requested.
Organize and tidy up living spaces, including straightening furniture and arranging belongings.
Clean and polish mirrors, glass surfaces, and windows.
Handle delicate or valuable items with care.
Use cleaning products and equipment safely and effectively.
Communicate with clients to understand specific cleaning needs.
Report maintenance issues or client concerns promptly.
Maintain confidentiality and respect clients' privacy at all times.
Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
Weekend availability required (not all weekends, just some).
- Must have reliable transportation.
Previous residential cleaning or housekeeping experience required.
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality service.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical stamina for repetitive tasks.
Flexible to work weekdays and weekends as needed.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
