We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Team Leader to join Blue Tuba's kitchen team.
About the Job
Culinary Team Leaders play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring our kitchen staff, maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation, and contributing to the creation of seasonal menus inspired by European culinary traditions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in European cuisine and cooking techniques, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor our kitchen team to ensure high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Assist the Head Chef in creating and executing seasonal menus inspired by European culinary traditions.
- Manage daily kitchen operations to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
- Inventory management.
- Scheduling.
- Contribute ideas for new dishes and culinary techniques.
Requirements
- Experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume, chef-driven restaurant.
- Strong knowledge of European cuisine and cooking techniques.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth and development.
