Other Details: The facility which is stroke-certified and trauma level 2 is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours only. There are an average of 12-15 plus hand offs patients per shift. The emergency department offers 8 12 hour shifts from 7 AM 3 PM, 11 AM 11 PM, or 3 PM 11 PM, with no on-call hours. Responsibilities include assessing and treating patients, performing triage, stabilization, and emergency procedures, making rapid clinical decisions under pressure, collaborating with nurses and specialists, and documenting patient care in the hospital s EMR. Ideal candidates should have experience in high-acuity emergency settings, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ED is supported by ancillary services, including radiology, laboratory, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, case management, mental health, trauma surgery, cardiology, neurology, orthopedics, infectious disease, OBGYN, anesthesiology, and more.
