Manages NFS Capital ACE and Expense Project coordination with Project Controls, including tracking and reviews.
Serves as NFS contact for Concur and expense reporting issues and resolution.
Maintains documents for vital records systems.
Completes activities for the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close that includes journal entries, financial statement reviews, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and preparing month-end reports including analysis of major cost drivers.
Supports finance team in preparing annual business plans, quarterly forecasts, monthly closing and current view projections.
Supports ad-hoc requests such as cash flow, budgeting, accounting reserves, governmental reporting/audits, and assisting with other F&A tasks as needed.
Supports ad-hoc requests from NFS Controller and the leadership team
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
At least five (5) years of relevant work experience.
Ability to interpret and apply company guidelines, SOX, GAAP, and government regulations.
Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
Able to demonstrate superior written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a rapidly changing environment.
Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous manufacturing experience.
