Job Summary:We are seeking a talented Human Resources Generalist to join our team as a Talent Acquisition Specialist. This role will assist the site management team in staffing and development of qualified personnel and other Human Resources functions while ensuring compliance with government regulations and corporate policy.About Us:Performance Foodservice is a leading distributor of food and related products to the foodservice industry. Our team of sales reps, chefs, consultants, and other experts builds close relationships with customers, providing advice on improving operations, menu development, product selection, and operational strategies.Key Responsibilities:Assist with recruiting, screening / interviewing and hiring of prospective candidates, managing cost effectiveness and methods of recruitingManage new hire orientations, including benefits, policies and procedures, company history, and other pertinent informationFacilitate associate relation issues during absence of Director, HR, gathering necessary information, researching, and discussing with appropriate parties as necessaryEnsure fair pay practices for all associates, assist with creating and maintaining job descriptions for all positions, and ensure job descriptions are reviewed between associates and respective managers/supervisorsMaintain and ensure legal compliance of associate personnel files and HRIS database, attend training as required, and provide ad hoc reports as requestedPerform other related duties as assignedRequirements:High School Diploma or Equivalent4-6 years Human Resources generalist experience with three (3) years in recruiting and hiring exempt and non-exempt associatesCurrent and thorough knowledge of employment lawEstimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experienceBenefits: Competitive pay and benefits, including Day 1 Health Wellness Benefits, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, 401K Employer Matching, Education Assistance, Paid Time Off, and much moreLocation: United States (varies)
