Labor Relations Director/Paralegal
Position Overview
We are seeking a candidate with a focus on labor relations and experience working with guilds (e.g., WGA, SAG, and DGA).
Responsibilities:
- Advise clients regarding union contract compliance for assigned bargaining units and/or assigned topics.
- Advise clients regarding discipline of union employees, including cause standards, as applicable, investigations, and rights to union representation.
- Responsible for handling union grievances, through pre-arbitration phase, as assigned.
- Initial point of contact for union inquiries; triage, research, respond, and resolve as assigned.
- Support and execute union contract administration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant labor relations experience.
- Proficiency with web-based databases and Microsoft Office suite, including Excel & Power Point.
Desired Characteristics:
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Solid administrative skills, attention to detail, and organization.
- Ability to manage high-volume and time-sensitive workload.
- Ability to handle extremely sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Experience drafting, negotiating, and working with contracts.
- Ability to work independently with legal teams.

Salary Description:
$75,000 - $90,000 per year
