Report to the Director of the department. Requirements: Graduate of a Practical Nursing Program registered by the New York State Education or a licensing authority of another state. Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire date. Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required in critical care units. Appreciable physical effort required, including moving, lifting, and assisting patients. Exposure to blood and body fluids or tissue (Category I).
