Job Description
Provides professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. Demonstrates knowledge of nursing principles for the resident in the relevant clinical setting. Demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilizes appropriate age and population specific standards related to the physical and psychosocial needs of the resident as per care plan. Ensures the health, comfort and safety of residents.Administers medications or treatments as ordered.Provides technical support to healthcare professionals as needed.Documents resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary.QualificationsGraduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.BenefitsHealth insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, work/life balance benefits, and a generous time off package.
