We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Alice Hyde Medical Center. This 24-hour per week, 10 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. position offers a competitive salary and various benefits.Job SummaryThe LPN will be accountable for performing tasks and responsibilities within the framework of case finding, health teaching, health counseling, provision of supportive and restorative care, administering medication(s), and provide nursing treatment under the direction of a registered nurse, licensed physician or other healthcare provider.Responsibilities:Monitor that Plan of Care is being followed by clinical staff under their supervision;Supervise certified nurse aides or unlicensed assistive personnel;Provide supervision, coordination, and evaluation of assigned unit healthcare team and services.RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you must currently be licensed as a Practical Nurse in New York State and have at least one year of experience in a similar position. Additionally, computer skills are required, and practices must be within the guidelines of the New York State Practice Act.Salary and BenefitsThis position offers a competitive salary of $1.60 per hour shift differential and a $4,500 sign-on bonus, paid in three installments over the course of one year. Relocation assistance is also available for eligible candidates.
