This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesCollects pertinent data and information relative to the healthcare consumer's health or situation.Analyzes assessment data to determine actual and potential diagnoses or issues.Develops and modifies a plan of care that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes.Coordinates care delivery and transitions in care.Employees strategies to promote health and a safe environment.Evaluates progress toward attainment of outcomes.QualificationsGraduation from an accredited school of nursing.Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required.Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut.Physical DemandsThis role requires prolonged standing, walking, use of sight, hearing, and touch. May be exposed to infectious diseases. Will be exposed to physical, mental, and emotional illness as well as end-of-life conditions and death.
