Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Ohio State University Hospital. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality PET/CT scans and contributing to the diagnosis and treatment of patients with various medical conditions.Job Summary:The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in PET/CT scanning, as well as certification in nuclear medicine. You will work closely with our team of physicians and radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses and provide excellent patient care.About the Role:Perform PET/CT scans on patients with suspected oncologic conditionsCollaborate with radiologists to interpret scan results and make recommendations for further testing or treatmentMaintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail during scan proceduresDevelop and implement quality control measures to ensure optimal scanner performanceStay up-to-date with the latest advancements in PET/CT technology and techniquesRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related fieldARRT (R) certification in Nuclear MedicineNMTCB certification in Nuclear MedicineMinimum 2 years of experience in PET/CT scanningExcellent communication and teamwork skillsCompensation and Benefits:We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.About Us:Ohio State University Hospital is a leading academic medical center dedicated to providing exceptional patient care, advancing medical research, and educating the next generation of healthcare professionals.
