We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Care Specialist to join our Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Clinic team at Prisma Health.
About the Role
This is a full-time opportunity for a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in providing high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to patient safety, and a passion for delivering exceptional care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assessments, treatments, and education to patients in the OB/GYN Clinic setting.
- Maintain advanced knowledge of diagnoses, medications, and treatment options specific to the specialty.
- Serve as a clinical resource, educator, and consultant for patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Coordinate care for patients based on detailed treatment protocols initiated by physicians without need for direct physician supervision.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- 1 year of clinical nursing experience within the OB/GYN specialty
- Active RN licensure in the state of South Carolina
- Certification in the OB/GYN specialty or pediatrics preferred
