Job Description
The Nursing Assistant attends to the needs of the Patient area, performing duties under the direct supervision of the unit charge person. Responsibilities include vital signs, answering telephones, keeping patient records current, and notifying nurses of significant patient condition changes. Additional duties include requisitioning supplies, transporting patients, and assisting with chemotherapy. Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, previous experience as a Nurse Assistant, and BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Work schedule and type TBD.
