Job Summary
Assist physicians and provide exceptional treatment to patients with various medical conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and report patient information and data
- Help patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, diet, fluid intake, skin care, bathing and dressing, positioning, transfers, mobility and ambulation
- Patient Transport
- Collection of specimens
- Distribution of linens and supplies to patient rooms
- Deliver ice and beverages to patients
- Stay with at-risk patients to monitor patient safety
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, or a Connecticut-approved Nurse Aide Training Program graduate, or a BA in Nursing or Health Sciences with one clinical completed, or significant healthcare experience
- Proof of college transcript or significant nurse assistant experience required
- BLS certification required
- Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant in an acute care setting preferred
- Ability to pass drug screening and background check
