Job Summary
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work as part of a dedicated team of nurses and healthcare professionals in our Surgical Telemetry unit. You will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients with diverse medical conditions, including surgical and medical diagnoses. Your expertise and clinical judgment will be essential in ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Collects data and completes nursing assessments utilizing appropriate area and/or age-specific standards/policies and tools.
- Evaluates opportunities for quality improvement and incorporates performance recommendations into the plan of care.
- Develops individualized plans of care based on patient needs, prioritizing goals and outcomes for effective patient management.
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless coordination of care.
- Maintains accurate records and documentation, adhering to regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse in South Carolina.
- One year of experience as a registered nurse or completion of the Prisma Health Nurse Residency Program.
