The OR RN Circulator reports directly to the Director of Nursing and plays a crucial role in the supervision and delivery of patient care, especially during hours when the administrator and Director of Nursing are not present. This structure ensures continuity of care and effective management across the hospital.
Within the unit, the OR RN Circulator is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing nursing activities by applying the nursing process in accordance with established procedures. This includes acting as a patient advocate, addressing educational, physiological, psychosocial, comfort, and safety needs of patients. You will maintain up-to-date knowledge of nursing practices and participate in staff meetings and training to enhance care quality.
