Role is responsible for driving results with Arlon's major distribution partners and mass market end user accounts across all Arlon products. Responsible for execution of the sales action plan for their assigned region. Territory is Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, Indiana, Missouri, Ohio, Minnesota, Kentucky . Essential duties and responsibilities: Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships Achieve sales targets and outcomes within agreed upon timeframes Contact and support of distribution channel partners (regional and national) Regular contact with all inside and outside sales reps Timely response to customer needs Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction Lead lunch and learns Educate our distribution partners on how to sell our products and best deliver our value proposition Joint sales calls with distributor reps on agreed-upon targets End-User Sales Build relationships with End User accounts to create distributor pull-through business Qualifying end user leads to identify opportunities Reach out to customer leads through cold calling Hand off leads with warm introductions to best distributor sales reps Visit existing customers and potential new customers to evaluate needs or promote products and services React to customer inquiries/technical issues/needs (give product recommendations) and elevate technical issues to Tech Service or Quality Engage technical resources to help facilitate the best customer experiences with Arlon products and close new business Qualify the right targets for technical training/showcases/distributor hosted workshops Analyze the territory/market's potential, track sales and status reports Provide management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, market trends and potential for new products and services Coordinate sales effort with the Marketing department to support promotions Attend trade shows, open houses, golf outings and networking events as needed Utilize CRM (samples, initiate quotes, track contacts, track leads/opportunities) Timely and accurate submission of T&E expense reports. Up to 75% travel Candidate must reside in Illinois or Indiana. Requirements: Minimum Requirements, Education and Experience: High School degree or equivalent Minimum five (5) years recent relevant work experience, with minimum two (2) years in a Sales role Ability, availability, and willingness to travel as per business needs; active travel documents, driver license and insurance. Microsoft Office ® proficiency Working knowledge of CRM and web research Strong communication skills in the English language (verbal, written, written, presentation, inter-personal) Positive outlook, professional demeanor, with a strong work ethic, that includes attendance, organization, accuracy, attention to detail, good judgement, and discretion.
