PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIAN

Compensation: $225,000.00 - $300,000.00
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides medical patient care by interviewing, examining, and prescribing treatments while managing overall patient care.
- Educates patients and their families about wellness, disease prevention, and early detection of illnesses.
- Accesses patient needs and provides referrals to appropriate specialists for continued patient care and follow-up.
- Actively participates in quality improvement programs to enhance patient outcomes and clinic operations.
- Handles patient concerns and inquiries comprehensively with compassionate communication and effective resolutions.
- Ensures the confidentiality of patient information in compliance with federal guidelines and regulations.
- Conducts meticulous documentation through the EMR system to ensure the accuracy and continuity of patient care.
- Provides on-call coverages for urgent care and emergency calls during the night as required.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Must possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
- Requires current, unrestricted medical licensure in the applied state(s).
- Must have board eligibility or board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
- DEA license is necessary for prescribing medications.
- Demonstrated history of following medical protocols and clinic policies with high accuracy and integrity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a direct patient care setting, preferably within internal medicine or a family practice.
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) software and proficient in technology use for health care.
- Expertise in developing patient-centric care plans and coordinating with other medical professionals for optimal outcomes.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to educate and motivate patients towards better health.
- Proven track record in participating and leading quality improvement initiatives in a healthcare setting.
