Deliver patient care through the nursing process, directing and coordinating care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards. Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and desired outcomes.Our Nurse Residency Program provides increased clinical support and education during orientation. Our 22-bed inpatient unit provides trauma-informed care to a mixed demographic of patients, including therapy options such as occupational therapy and psychotherapy groups. Nurses work 8-hour shifts with a Charge Nurse, Floor Nurses, and a Medication Nurse.We have been advancing healthcare in western Massachusetts since 1886, employing over 2,000 medical professionals and support staff across our network. Required qualifications include a BSN degree, licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and BLS certification.Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required;Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Registered Nurse (RN) required;BLS certification required;De-escalation training required within 30 days of hire or transfer into department;Psychiatric and geriatric nursing experience preferred;Demonstrated excellent technical, interpersonal, organizational, oral, and written communication skills required.This is a part-time position with rotating weekends and holidays.
