Job Summary and Qualifications

  • The RN Quality Coordinator assists with the coordination of the Performance Improvement Program to ensure high quality, patient-centered care by supporting the daily operations of the Quality Management/Patient Safety Program(s) and Performance Improvement programs. 
  • The RN Quality Coordinator collaborates with the Quality Leadership Team and other stakeholders to monitor processes, identify opportunities, obtain analyses, provide constructive input and channeling concerns appropriately, in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and other governmental requirements. 
  • The RN Quality Coordinator highlights priorities through data analysis and trending, incident response, and assists with staff education to advance patient safety and control and minimize risks at the facility. 

What qualifications you will need:
  • Graduate of school of nursing required. BSN preferred.
  • Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation. 
  • 2+ years clinical experience in a healthcare setting, Required.
  • 2+ years experience with computer programs, database programs, spreadsheets and project management, Preferred.
  •  Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Preferred.
  • Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS), Preferred.
  •  Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM), Preferred.
  • Healthcare Accreditation Certification Program (HACP), Preferred.
