    • Position is ambulatory surgery pre/post and PACU. Our team operates on a rotational call schedule, which is staff-managed and shared between team members. This means that while you will have the flexibility to enjoy time off, you will also contribute to our on-call rotation, providing support during emergencies or urgent situations. This collaborative approach ensures that the responsibilities of being on-call are shared equitably among all staff members.

    • JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
      • The Registered Nurse (RN) is accountable for utilizing the nursing process to provide safe, age-appropriate, direct and indirect patient care, while practicing within the scope of practice of the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
    • DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
      • Ambulatory Surgery provides pre, intra and post op care to surgical and procedural sedation patients. We provide service for the patient population of pediatrics, adolescents, adult and elderly patients. We work with a variety of provider specialties in caring for people going home that day or are being admitted to the hospital.
    • EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
      • Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required.
      • Healthcare Provider Level BLS required.
      • PCH Surgery Ambulatory:
        • ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Basic understanding of age-related differences in caring for and/or communicating with patients and caregivers.
