Position Summary:

The registered nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating all care for patients admitted to the ED during his/her shift.

Training and Continued Education

Opportunities for further education and training are available to our employees. 

Minimum Education

  • Graduation from a school of nursing and have current licensure as an RN.
  • One year Med/Surg experience preferred.

Required Licenses

  • Current RN license required, can be compact license.
  • BLS required within 30 days of hire, or prior to completion of orientation if before 30 days of hire.
  • ACLS required within 6 months.
  • PALS required within 6 months.
  • Advanced Stroke Course preferred.
