Job Description

Capital Health is seeking a registered nurse to provide quality patient care in an ambulatory setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Performs nursing care and treatment modalities, assists with procedures, and removes sutures and dressings.Supports the principles of quality care, compassion, dignity, and comprehensive continuum of care.Communicates with patients and their families, assesses patient education needs, and plans and implements patient education.Obtains and records patient history, reviews laboratory and test results, and prioritizes them for the licensed independent practitioner (LIP).Administers medications accurately and safely, documents patient records, and performs technical skills specific to the assigned ambulatory setting.Triages patient medical phone calls, assesses patient status, and schedules according to established protocol.Demonstrates a willingness to assist coworkers during periods of heightened patient care activity.Minimum requirements include an associate's degree or graduation from an accredited school of nursing, a NJ or PA license, and one year of experience in an acute, urgent care, or outpatient setting.Capital Health offers a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.Offers are contingent upon successful completion of our onboarding process and pre-employment physical.Capital Health is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates.
