Work as a Security Flex Officer at Allied Universal, providing safety and security for facilities and clients in Austin, TX. This role involves patrolling sites, detecting and reporting suspicious activities, and ensuring a safe environment for clients, guests, and employees. We offer a range of benefits for full-time positions, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, and employee assistance programs.Key responsibilities include:Patrolling assigned sites, detecting and reporting suspicious activities, and ensuring a safe environment for clients, guests, and employees.Acting as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions.Displaying exceptional customer service and communication skills.Having intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites.Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.Working in various environments, including cold weather, rain, snow, or heat.Occasionally lifting or carrying up to 40 pounds.Climbing stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift.Standing or walking on various surfaces for long periods of time.Requirements include:Being at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.Possessing effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.Having a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Passing a background investigation and drug screen.Being able to work for multiple clients at multiple locations, covering special projects, call-offs, vacations, and open shifts.Being available to work any time and day.Allied Universal is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
