As a Sales & Marketing Practice consultant, you’ll work directly with sales and marketing leaders from some of the world’s leading corporations including Global 100 largest companies. You’ll identify and define sales methodologies required to deliver business results and then translate them to the key behaviors that are required to execute in the field. You’ll then craft learning experiences and simulations to develop capabilities and embed the methodologies created. You’ll work across go-to-market organizations, supporting everything from front line sellers to senior commercial leaders. The experiences we create and facilitate allow our clients to practice and learn in a risk-free environment, and to walk away with tangible action plans.

We work in small teams to develop designed experiences - think customized business simulations or app-based digital learning, – then we facilitate these engagements with our clients in working sessions that incorporates humor, fun, and competition; and you’re the facilitator and coach who makes these experiences impactful and memorable.

There are no industry verticals at BTS, and you will work with a variety of clients on different types of projects. You’ll be staffed on multiple engagements at one time, across different industries, and with different internal teams.

When you’re not facilitating an offsite with your teammates, you’ll spend your time designing these amazing experiences - interviewing clients, conducting research and analysis, testing programs, and learning. This is all done in a team-based setting where our entrepreneurial culture of freedom and responsibility empowers you to contribute from your first day. Project leadership is also an important component of your work at this level, and you’ll increase your client- and account management skills. As those skills and your career grow, you’ll take on more responsibility to find new clients and opportunities to grow BTS’s business and grow the careers of other BTSers.

We have a hybrid work environment with expectations of being in our the office 50% of the time when you’re not traveling. As for travel, we do that differently than most consulting firms: you’ll travel when you are leading clients through the designed experiences you and your teammates create. On average you’ll travel 30-50% of the time, occasionally more than 50%, occasionally less than 30%.

While our ideal location for this role is San Francisco, we are also open to hiring for this position in Chicago or NYC. Hybrid work expectations still apply for our Chicago and NYC offices.

Experience and Background Requirements:

  • Minimum seven years' experience in selling or sales enablement in a relevant industry
  • Experience in project leadership as well as account management
  • Eligibility to work in the US permanently without sponsorship is required

Salary Information

Annual Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000

  • This range is for Consultant and Senior Consultant level roles. Starting salary is determined by experience and education/degree level
