We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineering Lead to join our Corporate Employee Experience team at JPMorgan Chase. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your technical expertise and leadership abilities to drive innovation and excellence in software engineering.About the RoleAs a Senior Software Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for leading high-performing teams of software engineers to deliver cutting-edge technology solutions that enhance the employee experience. You will work closely with architects, product owners, and customers to define requirements, communicate visions, and rationalize solutions. Your primary focus will be on building enterprise-scale, customer-grade engineering solutions that meet business objectives and client needs.Key Responsibilities:Define and communicate technical requirements to ensure successful project deliveryLead cross-functional teams to develop and maintain complex software systemsProvide coaching and mentoring to junior engineers to promote growth and developmentIdentify and mitigate technical risks to ensure smooth project executionCollaborate with stakeholders to prioritize projects and allocate resources effectivelyAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent technical skills, strong leadership abilities, and excellent communication skills. You should have a deep understanding of software engineering concepts, including design patterns, architecture, and testing methodologies. A background in web development using Angular, React, or similar frameworks is highly desirable.A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required, along with 5+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably in a lead or senior engineer role. Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts is also a plus.What We OfferJPMorgan Chase offers a competitive total rewards package, including a base salary of $170,000 per year, determined based on the role, experience, skill set, and location.
