Job Title: Registered Nurse - ER Facility: Holy Cross Hospital, Taos, NM Job Details: • Shift: Night Shift, 12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00). • Schedule: 36 hours per week, no blocked scheduling. • Job Duration: 13 weeks. • Start Date: April 7, 2025. • Location: 1399 Weimer Rd, Taos, NM 87571. Compensation: • Weekly Gross: $2,456.00 Per Week • On W2(Taxable): $720.00 Per Week ($20/hour) • Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,736.00 Per Week Position Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for an Emergency Room (ER) position at Holy Cross Hospital in Taos, NM. This is a full-time position offering a 12-hour Night shift schedule (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM), working a total of 36 hours per week. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of full-time experience in an ER or Critical Care setting. Applicants with PRN (as needed) experience will not be considered. Key Responsibilities: • Provide emergency care to patients in the ER, assessing their condition, administering medications, and performing emergency procedures as necessary. • Collaborate with physicians, other nurses, and medical staff to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced, critical environment. • Monitor and manage patients with serious and life-threatening conditions. • Document patient care and treatment according to hospital policies. • Participate in departmental meetings and training as required. Job Requirements: • Minimum Experience: 2 years of full-time experience in an ER and/or Critical Care setting. • Certifications Required: o TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) Certification. o NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification. o BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification. o ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification. o PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Certification. • Current RN license (must be provided before start date). • COVID-19 Vaccine: Proof required. • Flu Vaccine: Required for medical exemptions only.
