The hospital offers 24-hour emergency services, cardiology, general surgery, orthopedics, diagnostic imaging, withdrawal stabilization, wound care and urology.We believe healthcare is a team sport and every player has something to contribute. We show compassion, celebrate differences and treat one another with respect.Responsibilities:Operate ultrasound scanners, transport patients, handle phone calls, answer questions and report exam results.Handle patient support equipment, i.e. I.V. pumps and pulse oximeters.Clean rooms and equipment, order supplies, assist physicians with invasive procedures and administer basic C.P.R.Help the supervisor with daily department operations.Be registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).Be able to demonstrate proficiency in operating the PACS computer system.Maintain a high standard of imaging.Have a thorough knowledge of ultrasound physics, anatomy and positioning.Be able to handle multiple demands simultaneously and maintain a helpful attitude.Coordinate patient prepping and scanning to maximize smooth patient flow.Help move patients when needed.Participate in performance improvement initiatives.Assist with other activities as needed.Provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the lifespan.Be available for 24-hour call back with a 60 minute response time.Show competencies to discharge out-patients post procedure.Qualifications:2 year/ Associate Degree.ARRT or ARDMS or registry eligible.BLS.1 - 3 years of experience.
