You'll work on managing psychiatric concerns, psychosocial issues, and health behavior change through brief psychotherapeutic interventions delivered virtually.Key Responsibilities:Assess and treat psychiatric concerns, psychosocial issues, and health behavior change through virtual brief psychotherapeutic interventionsParticipate in rounds with psychiatric consultant and care managerConduct psychiatric evaluations to support short-term disability and provide certificationProvide education and consultation to behavioral health care managers and primary care providersOversee referrals to specialty mental health services and support a smooth transitionCollaborate with other Behavioral Health Providers to improve skills company-wideRequirements:PhD, PsyD, or EdD in Psychology and a California license1 year post-licensure experience in adult outpatient diagnostic evaluation and psychotherapyExperience providing brief, goal-directed, and focused clinical servicesStrong communication and teaching skillsFlexibility, multitasking, and comfort with ambiguityVirtual psychotherapy experience preferredHIPAA-compliant home area and reliable internet connectionBenefits:Paid sabbatical, Employee Assistance Program, and competitive medical, dental, and vision plansFree One Medical memberships, PTO cash outs, and 401K matchOpportunity to participate in company equity programs, credit towards emergency childcare, and extra contributions towards maternity and paternity leaveMalpractice insurance, Psych Hub and UpToDate subscriptions, and continuing medical education stipendThis is a full-time, virtual role requiring a CA state license. One Medical is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range is $124,000 to $141,000 per year.
